Chelsea’s new home kit for the 2018/19 campaign has been announced.
It was teased on Chelsea’s twitter account yesterday that the new kit would be revealed today, and it has been. The proposed design that was ‘leaked’ by the reliable Footy Headlines was bang on.
The new kit features the red and white stripes across the torso, as expected. What do you think, Blues? We welcome the change, our kits have become a bit dull in recent years.
Let’s hope we taste more success in this shirt than we did during our first season having our kit manufactured by Nike.
During our first season with Yokohama Tyres on the front, we missed out on Champions League qualification. The second time around, we won the Premier League title.
If we can replicate that success with Nike, you may well see Gary Cahill lifting some silverware donning this new jersey come May next year.
