John Terry is leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, but it may not be the last we see of him in the Premier League.
According to the Mirror, Bournemouth are set to offer the former England captain a lucrative contract in an attempt to convince him to move to Dean Court.
The Mirror believe that the Cherries will offer Terry a £130,000-a-week, two-year contract when his Chelsea deal expires. The tabloid report that Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is growing ever confident that he will secure Terry’s signature in the summer transfer window.
Terry has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte’s stewardship, with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill nailing down the three spots at the back. The Mirror understand that this is the main reason why Terry is looking for the Stamford Bridge exit door this summer, and Bournemouth may well be the side to benefit from his departure.
