Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly set to go head-to-head in the race to sign Atalanta midfielder Bryan Cristiante.
It’s that time of the year again. We’re approaching transfer season and the rumours are already beginning to hatch.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal will likely be looking to appoint a new manager at the end of the season, but that hasn’t appeared to stop either side from planning ahead of the transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, the Blues are interested in signing Atalanta’s Cristante, who joined the club in the summer following spells with both AC Milan and Benfica.
Arsenal are also thought to be interested in signing the Italian, whose representatives are believed to have met with both clubs in London ahead of a potential summer transfer.
If you’re not familiar with Cristante, you can get a taste of the kind of player he is in the compilation below. You can’t tell everything through a YouTube video, but he looks good!
