Antonio Conte has not given up hope of signing Torino striker Andrea Belotti this summer as Chelsea step up their hunt for a new striker, according to the Daily Star.
Despite the arrival of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, the Daily Star report that Chelsea’s Italian manager is unconvinced by the abilities of backup striker Michy Batshuayi and wants to bring in a second forward this summer.
Moreover, with the Mirror reporting that Diego Costa has moved out of his Surrey home in preparation to leave Stamford Bridge, Conte feels the club need another forward to compete on four fronts.
Belotti scored 26 in 35 games for Torino last season and has caught the eye of Antonio Conte, who has managed a host of Serie A sides including Juventus and Atalanta.
According to the Metro, Chelsea have already had a £63 million approach reject by the Turin side who have set an asking price of £88 million for the striker.
