Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw could be on his way to Stamford Bridge in the summer, if the bookies are to be believed.
Shaw was once considered one of the most promising of his generation of Englishman. The consistency of his performance level as a teenager at Southampton was staggering. Man United made their move to secure his services and did so in the summer of 2014.
However, Shaw’s stock has fallen during his time at Old Trafford. His relationship with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho looks to be beyond repair.
A move away from Carrington could be exactly what he needs to revive his stuttering career. Antonio Conte could be set to offer the 22-year-old an escape route.
The Daily Star report that Chelsea are the bookies favourites to land Shaw this summer. Everton, Tottenham and Arsenal are also thought to be interested, but the Blues are leading the race.
