Chelsea are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sell winger Kenedy to Newcastle United.
Selling Kenedy is an obviously bad idea. After the acceleration in the developments of Romelu Lukaku, Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne following their departures from Stamford Bridge, you’d think that we would’ve learned from our mistakes.
Apparently not.
According to the Telegraph, confidence is growing in the Newcastle camp that a deal will be struck to re-sign Kenedy this summer.
The Brazilian spent the final five-months of the season on-loan at St. James’ Park, and it looks as though he could be set to return to Tyneside – and this time he’ll be there to stay.
The Telegraph believe that Kenedy is close to joining Newcastle on-loan with an option to buy. We are all well aware of how talented he is, regardless of the price they’re willing to pay, this is not a good idea.
