Marco Van Ginkel is set to leave Chelsea in the next 48 hours, according to Goal.
As per Goal, Van Ginkel, who has two years left to run on his contract with the Premier League champions, does not have a place in Antonio Conte’s squad, and it looks as though his time as a Chelsea player will soon come to an end.
Goal report that Van Ginkel is on his way back to PSV, where he has already spent two respective loan spells. The major question mark remaining over the deal, according to Goal, is whether it will be another loan, or a permanent transfer.
Goal believe that Chelsea are demanding £10M in exchange for the Dutchman, a fee that PSV cannot afford. The Eredivisie giants are thought to be open to purchasing Van Ginkel for £6M, with a buy-back clause being included in the deal.
It is reported that the other option is sending Van Ginkel back on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. One way or another, Van Ginkel looks to be on his way back to his home country.
