Chelsea still have a chance of signing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro this summer, report the Express.
Aside from Real Madrid superstar Marcelo, it’s difficult to think of a better left-back on the planet than Sandro.
If Antonio Conte was able to add him to his squad this summer, he would be a considerable upgrade on the flimsy Marcos Alonso.
It looks as though the possibility of Sandro playing in a Chelsea shirt is more than just a pipe-dream.
The Express report that Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth claimed live on air that the Premier League champions are interested in signing Sandro this summer, and Juventus could be tempted to let him go for the right price.
Sheth believes, as noted by the Express, that a bid in the region of £60M could be enough to convince Juve to part with the Brazilian. Only time will tell if Chelsea’s interest is genuine enough to make an offer of that magnitude.
