Chelsea have been offered major encouragement in their pursuit of Real Madrid hitman Alvaro Morata.

The Express cite Spanish outlet Diario Gol in reporting that Alvaro Morata wants to leave the Bernabeu, and has informed teammate Sergio Ramos of his intentions.

Diario Gol believe that Morata is frustrated with his lack of regular game-time under Zinedine Zidane’s stewardship, and will subsequently seek the exit door.

Chelsea could provide the perfect destination, with the Express noting that Antonio Conte will find himself needing a replacement for Diego Costa, who could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

According to the Express, Conte is planning to spend big this summer in order to ready his squad for life in the Champions League. The tabloid believe that he could be given as much as £200million to spend, with Morata and Everton talisman Romelu Lukaku both thought to be on his shopping list. It looks as though there is an exciting summer in store.
