The agent of Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani has refused to rule out the possibility of his client leaving Turin his summer.

We brought you the news on Thursday that reports in Italy have claimed Chelsea could pursue Rugani following a recommendation by heavily-linked manager Maurizio Sarri.

Sarri and Rugani worked together during their time with Empoli. The former Napoli manager is thought to have pursued the player during his time at the Stadio San Paolo, but at Chelsea could finally have the financial resources required to sign him.

Rugani’s agent has now been discussing speculation linking his client with a summer exit from Juventus. The 23-year-old’s representative, Davide Torchia, was quick to deny rumours that any offers that been submitted to Juventus for Rugani.

However, Torchia didn’t rule out a summer move for Rugani. He appears to hold the age-old opinion that anything can happen in football. He’s quoted by Football Italia saying:

“We can’t say for sure in life that the player is off the market completely, but we can confirm no formal offers have arrived.”
