Juventus are reportedly open to the idea of selling us Gonzalo Higuain, but we’ll have to raise some cash in order to make the move possible.

Chelsea could really do with recruiting a new striker between now and the end of the transfer window. We struggle to believe that Maurizio Sarri is content with what he’s got.

Though we have over £100M worth of talent upfront in the shape of Alvaro Morata, Michy Batshuayi and Olivier Giroud, none of them have proven themselves able to hit 20-goals in a Premier League season.

Batshuayi hasn’t been given a fair short, in fairness. Out of the three of them, he’s most deserving of a chance to show what he can do, but he may soon have even more competition in attack.

According to the Daily Mail, Juventus are prepared to allow Higuain to join Chelsea if their £49M valuation is met. However, Chelsea will have to sell Morata in order to fund the move.

Morata’s rough around the edges, but selling him and signing Higuain would be a somewhat short-sighted move. What do you think, Blues?

Well alvaro can end up being a great investment so its not right to sell him just after one season. Even if he wants to leave he should be persuaded to stay!!!!!!

Higuain looked washed up at the world cup. Signing him, and for that kind of money, would be a massive mistake. Remember Shevchenko, remember Torres.
I’d much rather see Sarri earn his money as a coach, and get Morata back to playing like we know he can.
