Maurizio Sarri has already hand-picked three potential transfer targets ahead of his proposed move to Chelsea.
Sarri is on the verge of becoming Chelsea manager. Reports suggest that there are now just a few details to be ironed out before the deal is completed.
Firstly, Chelsea need to negotiate a fee with Napoli for Sarri’s release. He is still on the payroll at the Stadio San Paolo. He need to prise him away from the clutches of Aurelio De Laurentiis.
We also need to actually dismiss our current manager. Antonio Conte still has one-year remaining on his Chelsea contract. The likelihood is that will need to be paid in full before he agrees to depart.
Despite there being two potential stumbling blocks between Sarri and Stamford Bridge, he is already preparing for life as Chelsea manager.
According to Goal, Sarri wants to sign Gonzalo Higuain, Dries Mertens and Kalidou Koulibaly. Signing all three of them play seem somewhat implausible, but their arrivals would strengthen us in every area of the pitch.
Make it happen, Marina!
