Former Chelsea midfielder Ramires could be set for a sensational move back to Europe, according to the Daily Mail.

Whether or not you rated him as a footballer, it was impossible to hate Ramires. The Brazilian, who possesses none of the technical ability you associate with an archetypal Brazilian player, always gave 110% for his team. His baby face, even at the age of 30, is also impossible to dislike.

After 246 appearances in a Chelsea shirt over five-and-a-half years, winning five major honours including the Premier League and the Champions League, Ramires moved onto the Chinese Super League. After likely filling his bank account to it’s very limit after the best part of two years in the far east, Ramires could be set to return.

As per the Daily Mail, the ex-Chelsea midfielder has emerged on the radar of Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan. The tabloid claim that Inter are plotting a loan swoop for Ramires when the Chinese season ends at the end of November. It’d be great to see him back in Europe!
