Chelsea captain John Terry could be in line for a move to the far east.

According to The Sun, Chinese Super League outfit Tianjin Quanjian are set to offer Terry a lucrative contract when his Chelsea deal expires at the end of the season.

The Sun believe that Diego Costa has already agreed a pre-agreement to join Tianjin this summer, and Terry could reunite with the Spaniard in China.

As you may expect, there doesn’t appear to be any shortage of interest in the former England captain. The Sun report that West Brom and Bournemouth are also prepared to offer Terry an option to continue playing Premier League football.

It seems unlikely that either side would be able to rival Tianjin’s immense financial power. The Sun note that Costa is set to earn an eye-watering £25million-a-year in a Tianjin shirt. If Terry was offered a similar salary, it would undoubtedly be difficult for the 36-year-old to turn it down.
