Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah has opened the door to a summer move to Stamford Bridge. The only problem is, Chelsea do not appear to have even the remotest interest in signing him.

Acquah signed a four-year contract with Torino back in 2015. He is yet to reach 30 Serie A appearances in a Torino shirt, despite only missing 11 appearances through injury during his three-years with the Italian outfit.

As Goal report, he was on the verge of signing for EFL Championship side Birmingham City back in the January transfer window. He’s now decided to link himself with two of the Premier League’s biggest sides in Chelsea and Arsenal.

Acquah is quoted by Goal revealing his belief that he could be playing for one of the aforementioned European heavyweights at some point in the future:

“My dream is to play in England, so always I pray that one day, I get a chance to play there.”

“I don’t have a favourite team I want to play for, but any club, even if it’s Chelsea or Arsenal.”

At 26-years-old, Acquah has work to do if he wants to fulfil his dream of earning a move to Stamford Bridge or the Emirates. For now at least, we’re a cut above his level.
