Michy Batshuayi has his hat-trick, not that he knew much about it.

The Belgian needed to make an impression tonight in order to force his way in Antonio Conte’s thinking. Alvaro Morata is very much the Italian’s first choice striker at the time of writing, leaving Batshuayi out in the cold.

All he can do is make the most of the opportunities he’s presented with – and he is. He had already bagged a brace earlier in the match against Nottingham Forest, but when Kenedy’s shot cannoned off Batshuayi and into the back of the net, the match ball was his to keep hold of.
