After a slip at the back from the Greek side, defender Yevhen Khacheridi race after the ball in an attempt to rectify for the error. He was out-paced by Olivier Giroud, yes you read that right, and brought the Frenchman down while stretching for the ball.
There was no malice in the tackle and he was only narrowly beaten to the ball by Giroud. You won’t see many unluckier red cards than this. See the footage here.
