A tweet from Chelsea’s official Twitter account, which has since been deleted, has raised alarm bells among Chelsea fans.
Thibaut Courtois’ future at Stamford Bridge is in doubt as it is. He has one-year remaining on his Chelsea contract, with links to Real Madrid refusing to go away.
With a major question mark hanging over Cobham, Chelsea could do without fuel being added to the fire by the club’s social media channels.
The below tweet was posted on Monday morning, wishing Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi good luck against Panama in their World Cup opener.

Interestingly, the tweet did not include Thibaut Courtois, which concerned Chelsea fans on Twitter, who thought that he was on his way out of SW6.

The tweet was subsequently deleted and replaced one which included our lanky number 13 – thankfully.
He may well still leave this summer, but it doesn’t look as though his confirmation has been indirectly confirmed by this tweet,
