Michy Batshuayi scored for Belgium against Costa Rica during a World Cup warm-up friendly on Monday night.

Batshuayi provided a truly superb assist for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini during Belgium’s last game against Egypt. He’s gone one step further this time by getting on the scoresheet himself.

The Chelsea striker will get the plaudits, but it was some phenomenal work from teammate Eden Hazard in the build-up that made the goal. Hazard nutmegged an opponent before driving into the final third, releasing it to Romelu Lukaku, who put it on a plate for Michy.

You can see the goal below. Belgium are looking incredibly dangerous as the days tick down to the World Cup. Could the Chelsea contingent taste success in Russia?
