Tomas Kalas has showed signs of discontent over his future at the club after comparing himself with Chelsea regular Andreas Christensen.
Following the departure of goalkeeper Matej Delac on a free transfer to Danish side AC Horsens, Kalas is now Chelsea’s longest-serving player but has rarely been in the club’s plans. The centre-back is an integral part of neighbouring club Fulham, having spent the past two seasons on loan at Craven Cottage.
Kalas, who has made just two appearances for the Blues first team, is quoted by GetWestLondon on his thoughts over Andreas Christensen’s situation at Chelsea.
“Yeah, he’s one of two who have made it so it’s still not a big number but at least it gives us players on loan hope that we can make it through at Chelsea.”

Whilst it may appear that Kalas seems hopeful that he can replicate Christensen’s rise to the big stage at Stamford Bridge, it does have a sour tone feeling.
If Fulham, who are currently third in the Championship, get promoted to the Premier League, it would be little surprise to see Kalas jump ship on a permanent basis.
