Links between Real Madrid and Eden Hazard won’t go away but this reported offer is ambitious to say the least.
According to Spanish website Diario Gol, the La Liga giants are willing to let Marco Asensio join Chelsea but they want Eden Hazard in return.
Despite being one of the biggest talents in the world, Asensio is nowhere near the level Hazard is at right now.
The Belgian has been in great form recently and his market value is much higher than Asensio’s.
Real would likely have to pay a world-record transfer fee for Chelsea to be tempted into letting the player depart.

The Daily Star reports that Club president Florentino Perez is eager to keep Asensio. The Spaniard also signed a long-term contract in the summer that ends in 2023.
Whether this rumour is genuine or not, this reported offer is quite laughable from a Chelsea perspective.
