Cristiano Ronaldo

Hold the back page, Chelsea are linked with a move for 2017 Ballon D’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo!

The Real Madrid star is interested in returning to England after being unhappy in Spain, Spanish news website Diario Gol reports.

Ronaldo was incredible last year, winning a host of individual honours as well as La Liga and Champions League titles.

Despite all this success, the Portugese feels he still has unfinished business in the Premier League.

Manchester United are the Blues’ main contender in signing Ronaldo as the 32-year-old spent six seasons at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo may want to go back to United but a unique challenge is available at Chelsea.

Diario Gol also reports that should the La Liga side recieve a suitable offer, Ronaldo will be allowed to leave.

Paris Saint-Germain are long-admirers of the player and may join in the race should he become available.

Will Eden Hazard be involved in swap deal?

Eden Hazard
Chelsea are heavily reliant on the brilliance of winger Eden Hazard.

Real’s interest in Hazard may be able to boost any potential pursuit of Ronaldo from Chelsea.

It would be the biggest transfer negotiation in the history of football should a deal like this happen.

The Belgian may be irreplacable, but replacing him with last year’s world footballer of the year would be incredible.

What is he coming to Chelsea to do, 32-year old player? What else do you think he can offer now at this stage of his career? Of course little or nothing, no matter how hard he trains, he will struggle to play the game.
