Forgotten Chelsea striker Loic Remy is set to sign for La Liga outfit Las Palmas, report Football Espana.
Football Espana cite fellow Spanish outlet Cope Gran Canaria in reporting that the former France international has signed and sealed his Stamford Bridge exit and will travel to Gran Canaria in order to put pen-to-paper with his new club today.
It remains to be seen what the transfer fee will be involved, as there is not one mentioned in the report, but it is a permanent deal, opposed to another loan.
Remy spent the previous campaign on loan with Crystal Palace, but Cope Gran Canaria report that he is now going to leave Chelsea for good, signing a two-year contract with Las Palmas.
We thank Remy for his service, particularly at the tail end of the 2014/15 title-winning campaign, when he deputised for the injured Diego Costa. Good luck in your future endeavours, Loic!
